Squeeze me, Crush me, Make me WINE!
Wine Products: We sell several different product lines, with wine ranging from $50 to $140. There are many to choose from, so you can find something for every taste and budget.
These are some of the wine styles to choose from:
RED WINES
Amarone - This powerhouse wine is dark in colour and rich in flavour and aromas. The bouquet is spicy, with black cherry, tobacco leaf, licorice and coffee notes in the glass. Big, round and flavourful on the palate with delicious dark fruit, leather, cassis and pepper. Warm, with a soft tannin backbone, fine acidity and good structure. This wine demands patience to reach it’s full potential - allow it to mellow minimally 9-12 months as it will improve with age.
Australian Cabernet Sauvignon - The warm Southern sun produces a bold Cabernet Sauvignon with the varietal’s signature nose: blackcurrants, dark chocolate and subtle toasty notes. Fermented with toasted American oak to produce a full-bodied wine with hints of coffee laced with vanilla notes.
Australian Shiraz - This deep ruby red wine is well balanced with lively aromas of black pepper, plums and toasted oak. Full-bodied in structure, it is robustly built with chewy tannins and streaks of chocolate leading up to an elegant finish.
Australian Cabernet/Shiraz/Merlot - A classic New World blend made popular by the recent trend of success of Australia’s leading wineries. A well-balanced aroma of leather and black pepper gives way to intense jammy flavours of blackberries. The length of spicy flavour from the Cabernet, sweet berry fruit of the Shiraz and softening effects of the Merlot results in a tightly structured, well-balanced wine. Ruby red in colour, this hearty wine has an elegant and long finish.
Barolo - Deep red in colour and aggressive in structure, this full bodied dry wine has many fans. Intense flavours of violets, cherries and cocoa are set firmly against a backdrop of silky, yet firm tannins. Undertones of toasted oak dominate the long finish along with dark fruit and firm acidity.
Bergamais - A fresh young wine, best consumed in its youth. Cherries and plums fill the nose and the sweet cherry follows through to the mouth, where it lingers softly.
Bordailles Rouge - A medium-bodied, full-flavoured wine with black currant character, subtle oak and a light, earthy bouquet.
Bourgeron Rouge - Medium in colour and lower in tannin, this wine is dry and crisp in the mouth. Flavours of cranberry and cherry will delight the senses.
Cabernet Franc - This oaky, fruity wine has a complex aroma of plum, bell pepper, tar and toasted coconut rounded out with mild tannins and a pleasant finish.
Cabernet Sauvignon - Considered the noblest of all grapes, this full-bodied red is dark in colour and aggressive in nature. A hint of violet is present in the bouquet, typical of this variety. It’s superbly enhanced by oaking, and does well with age.
Cabernet Shiraz - The marriage of the elegant Cabernet with the fruity Shiraz results in a full red wine bursting with blackberry, currant and delicate oak aroma and flavours.
Chianti - Aggressive in nature, it is crisp, clean and spicy with a subtle black pepper flavour. A perfect mate to Italian food.
Grenache - Flamboyantly aggressive, this full-bodied wine is based on a strong structure of powerful fruit, heavy toasted oak and loads of earthy/spicy needs.
Italian Chianti Riserva - A dry, fruity red with medium to full body. This is a complex wine with spicy black and red cherry aroma and notes of chocolate.
Malbec - A rustic, medium-bodied red wine, this wine has a soft, rich texture, silky tannins, and flavour filled with ripe plums, currants, cherries and red berries.
Merlot - A smooth rich wine, medium dark in colour, tasting of blackberry and currants. You’ll note a hint of green olive in the nose.
Pinot Noir - A rich red wine, hearty in nature and smooth in flavour. The soft texture and dark colour complement the flavours of berry fruit, with a subtle raspberry undertone.
Red Zinfandel - A dark, full and soft wine loaded with raspberry and bell pepper in the aroma–a true Californian classic.
Shiraz - This full-bodied red wine is deep and rich with ripe blackberry, plums and black pepper, with velvety tannins.
Shiraz Viognier - Co-fermentation of Shiraz with Viognier is a traditional winemaking technique. The addition of Viognier gives a perfumed dimension and embraces the aggressive and complex characteristics of the Shiraz. The resulting blend is a full-bodied, deep garnet red wine with a complex nose of violets, spices and rich American oak. Integrated flavours of berries, chocolates and spices are framed by tight knit, chewy tannins, creating a long and dramatic palate.
Valpolicella - The aroma in the glass is reminiscent of farm fresh cherries backed by streaks of dark chocolate and toasted oak, aging well into a wine of graceful distinction.
View Chateau du Roi - A classic, full-bodied red wine that is deep in colour, carrying a warm bouquet of ripe berry fruit nicely rounded with oak.
